Jack Huttner
Jack Huttner manages a consultancy focused on the
bioeconomy. He’s had a long distinguished
career working on renewable energy development, at
Genencor, Dupont Danisco Cellulosic Ethanol, Gevo,
and now with various clean tech start-ups and
Fortune 500 companies alike. He is based in
New York and complements Green Capitol’s DC based
advocacy, corporate development and public affairs
services very nicely.
Barry Strumpf
Barry Strumpf is a nationally recognized expert
on the federal budget and appropriations process.
His work spans a broad cross section of issues
touching upon everything from energy to defense and
finance. He was a long-time budget staffer for
former Senator Ernest Hollings (D-SC), former
Chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee and one of
the lions of the Senate. Barry spent over two
decades working with Senator Hollings on Capitol
Hill. In addition to his work with Green
Capitol, Barry teaches about the federal budget
process at Georgetown University. He is frequently
called upon by staff on both sides of the aisle and
various clients to address the most challenging
problems.
