Jeff Genzer

Jeff Genzer is Vice-President of Duncan, Weinberg, Genzer & Pembroke, P.C., a boutique energy and environmental law firm in downtown Washington, D.C.  Jeff is an energy expert and has represented major energy organizations and other entities in legal proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, state public service commissions, the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  Jeff’s legal and policy work focuses on all types of energy concerns at the federal and state levels.  Jeff and others at the firm also have extensive experience in environmental law, including implementation issues under the Clean Air Act and both regulatory and litigation activities. 

Barry Strumpf

Barry Strumpf is a nationally recognized expert on the federal budget and appropriations process.  His work spans a broad cross section of issues touching upon everything from energy to defense and finance.  He was a long-time budget staffer for former Senator Ernest Hollings (D-SC), former Chairman of the Senate Commerce Committee and one of the lions of the Senate.  Barry spent over two decades working with Senator Hollings on Capitol Hill.  In addition to his work with Green Capitol, Barry teaches about the federal budget process at Georgetown University.  He is frequently called upon by staff on both sides of the aisle and various clients to address the most challenging problems.

Julian Norment

Julian Norment is an attorney and longtime Hill staffer. He has an extensive background working with municipal government and educational organizations. He works on environment and energy issues, transportation, urban infrastructure, housing and community development.
